Direct Your Disney Side: Sock

Disney Momma  —  January 8, 2015

I have loved everything about the Disney Side theme.  I recently watched these videos with my kids and knew I had to share them with all of you.   Three incredible, short videos were made by teens for Disney’s “Direct Your Disney Side” project.

These teens (ages 13-15) wrote their stories, pitched them to the Disney team, and directed them.   Why did Disney start this initiative?  “Because, for a generation that carries cameras in their pockets and can post videos within seconds, creativity blossoms with every step and stories unfold before our eyes,” Disney says in their “Behind the Scenes” video.

I’ll be sharing each video, starting with “Sock” by 13-year-old Jack Vinetz. I laughed and laughed at the end of this video and marveled at how this sock jumps around the way it does.  I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I did.

Enjoy!

If you’d like to know more about this “Direct Your Side” project, here is the “Behind the Scenes” video that I mentioned.

Come back soon to see the other videos.  I’ll put links on my facebook page when they’re up, as well.
