Archives For Wordless Wednesday

Today is Wordless Wednesday and we’re joining up again with Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!  This week’s theme is Pinterest Pins.

If you don’t follow me on Pinterest, head on over to my Pinterest Profile and follow me.  I am a Disney fanatic, but I’m also a wife, mother, elementary teacher, cook, crafter, novice photographer, housekeeper, and an enjoyer of life.  So, in addition to my Disney boards, I have lots of boards for holidays and other fun, useful stuff.  Follow them all or follow whichever ones match your interests!

Here is a sampling of some of my Disney pins, as well as a couple of my non-Disney pins that have gotten the most repins.  Click on the descriptions for the links!

I can’t believe that it’s Wednesday again already, but that means we get to join Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop today!  This week’s theme is Disney Side.

My Disney Side is probably best captured through anxious giggles and gasps and my childlike excitement at Disney World, but, these pictures from Extra Magic Hours at the Magic Kingdom show it pretty well too.  It was around 1 AM when these were taken and we were all at our silliest.

Here is my family’s forget-about-everything-and-just-have-fun and stay-until-past-close Disney Side!

At 1 AM, we raced straight through the Pirates of the Caribbean line and boarded our own boat. We were so excited to have the whole place to ourselves that we took a (gasp!) flash photo selfie!

Happy New Year!  Today’s Wordless Wednesday theme is Retrospective.

I’m so thankful that my family, my sister, and I were able to go to Disney World in 2014.  A lot of changes have come to Disney World this past year and plenty more are in store for the coming year.

‘m glad that I was able to do these (among many other things) at Disney World in 2014:

  • Ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train several times (which opened in May 2014) Continue Reading…

It’s Wordless Wednesday!  On this day before Thanksgiving, the theme is a fitting one: Food Love!  And I definitely love the food at Disney World!

Here a few of my favorites:

Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin Style) from Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom (Eight Hour Slow-Cooked Pork with Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots, and Bacon, served with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans Jardiniere) — This is my favorite meal at WDW! Continue Reading…

This Halloween week, our Wordless Wednesday BlogHop theme is “Villains.”  There are so many Disney villains that we all love to hate.  I’m featuring villain-themed sweets.

The Main Street Confectionery had these Maleficent sweets on display: cake pops, caramel apples, and rice krispie treats.

This week’s Wordless Wednesday BlogHop theme is country.  World Showcase in Epcot is one of my favorite things about Walt Disney World, so I had to take the opportunity to feature that part of the Parks.  But, how would I choose from my pictures and from the 11 countries?

Name That Country

I decided to do a World Showcase “Name That Country” game.  I’ve taken a picture of a KidCot Cast Member in each country.  In the comments, guess which country each photo is in.  Maybe you recognize the KidCot Fun Stop itself or maybe the Cast Member’s clothes will help you, perhaps even their name tags.  Maybe you have no idea and you just make lots of guesses!  In any case, have some fun and play along!  … And Happy Wednesday! Wordless Wednesday: Seasons

Disney Momma  —  September 24, 2014

This week’s Wordless Wednesday theme is “seasons.”  Since I just came back from Disney World and enjoyed it’s beautiful fall decorations, I’m featuring the current season.  Fall decorations have never been as beautiful as they are at Disney Word in autumn.  Here are a couple glimpses of some of their beautiful fall wreaths.

This week’s Wordless Wednesday BlogHop theme is September!  September is my birthday month, as well as my oldest son’s, and my brother-in-law’s.  My sister and her husband went to Disney World over his birthday one year.  They came back and told us that September was THE time of year to visit.  We took their word for it and tried it too.  Now, I have to say, it’s also my favorite month to visit Disney World.  Here are some pictures of why I love September at WDW:

It’s beautiful.

PotC Wait TimeWe actually heard a Cast Member say that the only reason they put 5 minutes is because it takes that long just to walk through the queue to get to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction!

Free Food, Drinks, and Snacks!

The “free dining plan” offer is never guaranteed each year, but we’ve gotten in on it for two Septembers…and I LOVE it!
As someone who wouldn’t normally spend much on snacks at the park, the free snack credits are my favorite part (especially in Epcot’s World Showcase!), but that’s not to say that I don’t love the free meals, drinks, desserts, and refillable mug.   I love it all!

Have you ever been to WDW in September, or it is a time of year when you’d like to go?
Have you ever used the Free Dining Plan offer?

I have been missing being a part of Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday BlogHops!  It has been such a busy month at my house, and it isn’t slowing down for a while, but I managed to squeeze in a post this morning.  This week’s theme is Disney Details: one of everyone’s favorite things about Disney.

Today, I’m taking you into the queue of Muppet Vision 3D in Hollywood Studios.

This week’s Wordless Wednesday theme is “Attractions!”  There are so many attractions at Disney World and I love most of them.  How ever do I pick just a few to feature in this post?   Make sure you follow the link at the bottom to see the other attractions in the Blog Hop.
