Archives For Wordless Wednesday

Fall is such a beautiful time at Walt Disney World!  Enjoy this autumn photo, perfect for an October calendar page!

I’m linking up with Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop, currently hosted by Disney Day by Day, while Deb undergoes chemo treatments.  I’m keeping her in my prayers as she focuses on her healing for the next several weeks.  Take care, Deb!

The last several weeks have been crazy at my house, so I haven’t been posting much.  It feels good to finally get something published again.  Today, I’m linking up with Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!

This week’s theme is “Celebrations!”

Traveling to Disney World/land is always a cause of celebration, but here are a few pictures of mine that this week’s theme made me think of.

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!

This week’s theme is “This is Really Good!”

Of course, a phrase like that makes me think of food, and there is plenty of good food to be had in Disney World.  But, I’ve decided to stray from the food idea and pick a few other things that are “really good” parts of being at Disney World.  (That’s pretty much everything, for the record, but, I will try to pick just a few.)

Enjoy the list and have a great Wednesday!  Continue on to see the rest of the Blog Hop after checking out my post.

Starting Your Disney Adventure

It is so exciting to scan your Magic Band at the airport and know that, from there on out, you will be on Disney property.  The magic awaits you!

Wishes … Ok, All of the Nighttime Shows

Wishes is my favorite, but they’re all so good that I can’t leave them out.  Disney’s nighttime shows are not to be missed. Continue Reading…

This week’s theme is “Wild Rides!”

I’m not much of a thrill-ride rider.  You won’t find me on Expedition Everest or Tower of Terror.  But, my family and I absolutely love Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!  This picture is me with our almost 5-year-old son, who could have ridden this all day.

This week’s theme is “Disney Parades.”

My very favorite parade is the new Festival of Fantasy Parade, but I’m featuring one that I haven’t posted many pictures of before: the Main Street Electrical Parade.

This parade is beautiful.  So much impressive technology that I don’t even understand goes into the timing of the music and the lights.  It truly is a sight to see!

I am joining up with Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop again this week!  This theme today is Disney Nature.

When I think of “nature” at Disney World, I tend to think about Animal Kingdom first.

My kids also love the random animal sightings around the Parks:  when birds, ducks, and other creatures wander closeby, usually seeking a snack.  It’s always fun to see how many anole lizards you can find running around too!

Keep an eye out for Anoles. They’re often in the landscaping!

There are also beautiful flowers and trees to be seen at Disney World–both in the manicured landscaping and all around the Disney property.

What nature scenes stick out in your mind from Disney World?

This week’s Wordless Wednesday theme is “Looking for a Sign.”  There are lots of signs to be found on Disney World property, most of which are impressively detailed and clever.  Here are just a few of the signs that you will see at the Parks.

SignsTown Square Theater: Magic Kingdom
The Pinocchio Village Haus Restaurant: Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom
Tomorrowland: Magic Kingdom
Pizza Planet: Hollywood Studios
The Seas with Nemo & Friends: Epcot
Sir Mickey’s gift shop: Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom

It’s Wednesday again!  I am joining up with Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!  This week’s theme is 4 Favorites.  So much to choose from: favorite attractions, favorite stores, favorite restaurants, favorite characters, favorite souvenirs, … !

Maybe it’s because I’m pregnant, or maybe it’s just because I love Disney food, but I am choosing 4 favorite things to eat at Disney World (on a budget…no table-service meals here).

Here we go!  Mmmmmmm!

After several weeks away, I am glad to be a part of Wordless Wednesday this week!  We’re joining up with Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!  This week’s theme is Photo Flashback.

I decided to flash back to my FIRST trip to Walt Disney World.  I went with my high school band for Disney’s Magic Music Days in June of 2004.

I’m featuring a couple of old, high-quality photos (haha!) of attractions that are no longer at the Magic Kingdom.

We’re joining up again with Deb from Focused on the Magic for Wordless Wednesday!  Today’s theme is “Unforgettable.”

There are so many moments that fit that description when you’re on a Disney vacation, but here are a few of my favorites.

Sword in the StoneOur older son really believed he could pull the sword from the stone.

Snow White KissHe adored Snow White, and the feeling was mutual. Continue Reading…
