Wordless Wednesday: Food Love

Disney Momma  —  November 26, 2014

It’s Wordless Wednesday!  On this day before Thanksgiving, the theme is a fitting one: Food Love!  And I definitely love the food at Disney World!

Here a few of my favorites:

Food FavesTop Left:
Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin Style) from Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom (Eight Hour Slow-Cooked Pork with Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots, and Bacon, served with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans Jardiniere) — This is my favorite meal at WDW!

Bottom Left:
Cappuccino Cupcake from Pizza Planet in Hollywood Studios — Wow.  That frosting!!
Top Right:
Banana Cocounut Mousse Dome from Sunshine Seasons in Epcot  — Delicious and beautiful
2nd Right:
1/3 Pound Deluxe Angus Cheeseburger topped with Onion Rings, BBQ Sauce, and Bacon from Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at the Magic Kingdom —  We love burgers here…with the sauteed mushrooms from the toppings bar!
3rd Right:
Antipasto Salad from Pizza Planet in Hollywood Studios — Refreshing and full of flavor (and loaded with toppings!)
Bottom Right:
Pizza from Wolfgang Puck Cafe in Downtown Disney — Really good pizza!

So, there you have it:  some of my favorite foods from Walt Disney World Resort.  After looking through these photos, I will be good and hungry for Thanksgiving dinner!

What are your favorite foods at Disney World?  Have you tried any of my favorites?

  1. I would love to get my hands on that cupcake or that dome! I’ve never seen that dome before at sunshine Terrace. Hopefully i’ll see it next time!

    • I hope you can try them! They’re so good. My whole family was digging into that dome dessert and the cupcake is my favorite one ever. So yummy!

  3. That all looks good! I’m gonna have to try that banana coconut mousse dome next time I’m at Epcot!

    • You should definitely try it! My kids kept asking for more and more bites of it. It was definitely the favorite dessert from our lunch that day.

  4. All of it looks so good! I need to try the Coq au Vin next time. That must have been sensational! Happy Thanksgiving!!

    • Let me know what you think when you get to try it. It really is delicious! I even get excited about the green beans! You wouldn’t expect something like green beans to taste all that special, but they are so good! 🙂 I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
