Wordless Wednesday: Disney in the Details

Disney Momma  —  May 13, 2014

This week’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop theme is “Disney in the Details.”  The little details are one of the things I appreciate most about Disney.  This post could be 50 miles long, so I decided to focus on some of the details of the Be Our Guest Restaurant.  Enjoy the photo tour!

Painted algaeThis one requires a little explanation:  I noticed painted-on algae on the rocks outside the castle in the stroller parking area.  So detailed and realistic!  Clever Disney!

  1. Love the details at Be our Guest, oh and the food is great too 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

    • It really is! I loooved the braised pork there. We went back a 2nd time during our last trip, just to order the same thing!

  2. Love Be Our Guest! I was so impressed with all the theming and details – right down to the fancy covers for the drink station 🙂 The Imagineers really did a fantastic job immersing you into the whole experience!

  3. Great photos! The details at Be Our Guest are fab. I’ve only eaten there for dinner, but I’m hoping to try it for lunch this year.

    • I’d love to be there for dinner sometime. I have only been there for lunches and we had great experiences. I’ve heard complaints about it getting noisy in the ballroom at lunchtime. I suppose it was, but I didn’t care too much because I was just enjoying the whole experience. I would suggest a late lunch though. We ate around 2:00. The line was not as long and, when we finished, the place was clearing out, so we got to leisurely look around. It was great! They even offered to show my son how to fold the rose napkins! Just make sure you’re there before they shut the doors for dinner prep. 🙂 Have fun next time you’re there!

  4. Hi there! So sorry it took me a week to swing by this post. 🙂

I LOVE your shots… the Beast’s castle is so amazing and chock full of Disney details! I’ve eaten there twice now, yet you have some pictures here of things I hadn’t even noticed before. That’s the magic of Disney, right?? Always something more to see or discover.

New follower and fan – nice to meet you!
